Bed tool box

Hey all cab is being used for stereo eqip now. I was thinking of mounting (making) a small box with two or three drawe to fit to the back of a wheel well. Maybe 8 to 10 inches wide and the length from the gate to the wheel well. Just curious if anyone else has seen or done this. Just need something to carry my hitch collection and some std tools

I have a Geneva side tool box with 5 drawers that works really well. Have had it for about 7 years. No rust and your tools stay dry. The door can be ordered in right hand, left hand, or pull down to open. They come in black, white, or aluminum diamond plate. You can get them at www.genevaproducts.com or from Tractor Supply Co. The cost is about $180 They also have top lid boxes that would work too.

I wish some one would make a side box like on the old Ford's back in the 70's. It seems the bed boxes take up too much room in a 6.5 ft bed. I have thought about mounting some ammo boxes under the bed in front of the pass rear wheel but I think axcess would be too limited. It is not a huge space but you could put bed straps and emergency tools in it and lock it up.
