Bed Rail caps

I need a bed rail cap. My stake pocket took some good dammage so I am looking to hide it.
Any brands fit better then other?
I am really not into the dimond plate, just a normal black works for me.

I have the black plastic Dodge brand and they looked nice when they were new but they put these tiny strips of 3M tape on them which does not hold well after sitting in the sun for a couple months. Mine started to warp and bend upwards at the front and the rear and I just pulled them off last weekend. I am going to clean them up really good then apply the proper amount of 3M tape on them and hope it holds. If not, then I'm getting some black diamond plate caps for mine....

I had nothing but problems with the plastic bed rail protectors (Bushwackers). After several months I rip them off and replaced with DeeZee aluminum britetread protectors.

I've used the black powder coated aluminum diamond plate bed caps from DeeZee and the black powder coated steel diamond plate bed caps from Ranch Hand. The Ranch Hand set didn't fit all that well, but the DeeZee set fit nicely. I've used the DeeZee bed caps on several trucks and they always seem to work well.

Same here, no problems. I think I had them for 3 years now, and only a couple small places where the black wore through. It was all my fault for banging them, but then again that's why I wanted them.

I know you said no diamond plate, but I have the Dee Zee ones on my truck. 4 years and they aren't lifting up or anything. They still look great.

I have the Wade brand and I like them. They are thin and fit nice. They are holding up very well so far. They definitely aren't the most expensive brand out there but they are doing the job.

I have the Dee Zee black plastic ones. I cut holes where the stake pockets are and mounted the tie down hooks over the top of the bed rail cap, essentially locking them down. No warping.

Mine already had the holes and I added the stainless ties downs that have the pop-up hooks. Looks and functions very well.

I'll second the vote for Wade as I have them on my truck and like them. I also installed some pop-up loops for my stake pockets at Wallyworld for $25 a pair. I really like have mulitiple mounting points because you never know what you'll be hauling. The only con about the Wade caps is that the stake hole were not lined up exactly right and were a little small, which did kinda work out as I could enlarge them in the proper direction.
Also Wade is using a smaller and very sharp looking stick on emblem now and not the printed on big white letters "WADE" as shown on most catalog pics.

Believe it or not, the stake holes in my DODGE brand don't line up either at the front of the truck. They are about 3/4" off. They do look good when they are on so I hope to have them back on this weekend...
