Badge question

Just picked up an 08 3500, but I do not like the 3500 badges that are on it. I like the older style badges that are just the numbers without the red background. I have searched but came up empty handed. Does anyone know where I can pick up some RAM 3500 badges from an 06?

Is the dealer the place to go?

Thank you very much dodgezilla04, ordered the new badges! It looks like the stock badges are just held on with tape so there will be no holes when I take them off, can someone confirm this for sure?

Confirmed. Get some 30 lb test fishing line and a 3M stripe off wheel and they come off in a jiffy.

It's real tough to get them off w/out messing up the red paint underneath. Mine looked pretty bad once I got them off and they went straight into the trash.

I put a silver "Cummins Turbo Diesel" decal along the ridge of the SRT-10 hood and it looks boss. I'll get some pics up eventually.

I debadge mine yesterday but now the goowey adhesive is on the paint. I've tried Googone and it is very slow...took me 10 minutes for just the #3. Is there a better way? Anyone wants to trade my 06 Ram 3500 for a newer style? Thanks.

Did anyone notice the new 07-08 badges went a full circle back to the old school very early dodge badges? thats how i know a really early one, and i always look for the small red cummins turbo diesel on top.
i dont like the 05 set up. cant notice the C turbo diesel. and i think the RAM3500 is hard to read. its not real prominent. but then neither were the second gens till you got pretty close. at least you could tell a diesel in them from a mile away with the CTD undereath. would anyone murder me if i put second gen badges on the side actually the second gen Sport painted on badges would work. i always thought they were cool. I always thought the early second gen sport badges that where the color of the truck were funky theres a 98.5 around here with them on.(all red bage)
i also dont like a debaged truck. pay a lot of $$ for them i want people to know there's a Diesel under the hood!!

You need a 3-M stripe off wheel. About 30 bucks at most good auto parts stores. It's a wheel about 6" across made from stuff that looks like gum eraser. Stick it in your cordless and go to town. Takes the glue from the 3-M tape off most ricky-tick.

I just got my truck and was thinking of removing the RAM2500 off the doors. I would leave the Cummins on the fender, and probably the badges on the tailgate.

I debadged the lame V8 TITAN from the doors of my last truck, it looked much better.

You mean like this??? I love them too and decided to "rebadge" with them. I like them so far. FYI...only the 1998 "sport" badges are Red.
