Batterys went out so I replaced them and now my CD player don't work anybody know anything about this??

 

is it an 06 model???. reason I ask is that the CD players tend to fail on the 06 models... I just bought an MP3 Player..

That's strange....when the batts were getting low on my '03 the cd player could never keep memory once the truck was shut off. New batts solved that problem....I think you have something else going on. Try a car stereo place to see if they have a factory take out....they're dirt cheap....and see if it works. If not, you know you have a problem somewhere.

 

When my battery posts were dirty, it was like they were getting bad and the radio would cut out when i started the truck, in my fuse box there's a fuse in a special plastic clip. I pull up on it and put it back in while the truck is running and it comes back on normal. The truck is an 06
