Chris is correct, there is no dedicated fuse for the backup lamps. It is controlled by the TIPM and comes of another power source, I cant recall which one it is right now. If that fuse were to blow you would lose more than just the backup lamps.
It looks like I'm going to the dealer. I really hate going there for any reason. It seems to me a fused circuit with a mechanical switch would be a whole lot better.
Thanks- John

you would think so. I guess it eliminates some wires though.... I just went and started up a conversation with the service manager and he fixed it for free. Didn't take 5 minutes.

Reminder to you guys, search tipm in the other threads. you can only have 3 or 5? some resets then you have to buy a whole new tipm (fail) some reporting $400-900 w/labor to replace it. Thats not a pretty sight for a .20 cent fuse.
I just got done installing my "modulite", it pulls the trailer load onto its own relay, seperate hot wire to the batt. I also put backup lights on my truck, but wired them to a relay, and using this seperate hot wire to the batt. Works great.
