I have tried to disable the automatic door locking feature on my Ram several times without success. This weekend I had to do a job wherein I had to make multiple stops in just a short distance while retrieving material from the rear of the cab. Each time I moved the truck the doors would lock again and it got so darn frustrating! I again tried the method outlined in the owner's manual - key in ignition, cycle on and off 4 times in 10 seconds then push the manual door lock button to close within 30 seconds. Still no success. Has anyone found a better/different way to disable the automatic door locking?

 

mine worked on my 07 I also did the auto unlock iun case they get locked while driving. I opent he door for the woman and hate having to unlock the door before I open it.

 

I had the same problem with my 07 Mega Cab with the horn honk upon lock. It wouldn't shut off no matter how many times I tried so I went to the dealer and had them turn it off with the computer.
