So I just bought an 03 3500 that has 215K miles. The truck is in pretty good condition, but there is no cruise. It originally came with an Auto tranny, but the previous owner must have gotten sick of it bombing out on him and installed an NV5600 6sp in 08. I'm not sure why but the cruise doesn't work on the truck. would this have anything to do with the tranny swap or would it be engine/electrical problems? I just don't know where to look.

I guess I didnt' search the forum good enough. It must be the airbag clockspring because the cruise control, airbag and horn are all not working. Love this forum, keep it up guys

 

I Just replaced the clockspring and that was it! now my airbag light is off, horn works and cruise control should be back too. Now I can pass the darn inspection
