Lookin at buying a 06 Mega-Cab has NO window sticker was told by the used car salesman that it came from a factory auction due to damage in transport. he told me it had both bumpers replaced by dodge. truck has 31 miles on it.
can anyone tell me if it still has a warrenty on it? The VIN is 3D7LX39C96G173226 it appears to be a Laramie but not sure. also is there any way to find out what it sold for at auction?

 

The dealer can run the vin.It will tell you active warranty or not.Vehicles like that happen a lot with warranty intact.

 

Thanks for the info Hounddog...already talked to the local Dodge dealer, they wanted me to bring them the truck so they could see it before they would release any information about it to me....a little hard for me to do since the truck is at a used car lot on the other side of town...lol Plus the local dealer here is a bunch of shady people..... can anyone here run the VIN for me?

 

Has to be run through D.C.. try calling D.C. 1-800-992-1997. Usually someone at the local D.C. dealer such as in service will run the vin.Its no big deal.They can show original dealer,warrantys,option packages etc.

 

Do a search on here. Somebody posted, that they would look a vin number up and give you all the info on the truck. I think it was posted last week.

 

as long as the bumpers weren't damaged in transport from New Orleans. check and see who the original dealer was when you get the vin run. ks
