Armrest cover install

Just finished a very straightforward install of leather seat covers but the center armrest has got me stumped. I think the plastic molding on the underside pops off but I'm not 100% sure and don't want to risk breaking it. Has anyone tackled this installation?

It does. It has clips all the way around the edge. If you carefully slide a puddy knife under the edge, you can release the clips without breaking too many. Unfortunately, I figured this out after breaking half of them off
Cheers

Thank you bekim, I was tempted to just leave the original cover on becaause it does sort of match the new leather. I'll attempt to be more successful than you, Thanks again.
