How do I turn off the auto door locking feature? That dang thing drives me NUTS, not to mention has caused me to lock the keys in the truck once already! TIA

 

The procedure should be in your owner's manual. It's some combination of pressing buttons on the remote and turning the ignition on and off, I just can't offhand remember what that combination is. You can also turn off the horn chirp "feature" that happens when you lock the truck with the remote.

 

Wasn't this covered last week in another thread? Seem to remember it is on page 15 & 16 of your owners manual.

I think that one was the seat belt chime.... they should all be close to the same page numbers anyway...

 

It's on page 16. It drove me nuts too. :

 

This rig doesn't have the remote door locker...just power locks.

As said before you need to turn the key on and off in a certain pattern to disable it, has nothing to do with a remote.
