Anyone install the mopar hood scoop
Anyone install the mopar hood scoop
I picked up a hood scoop from my local CL for $20 that I believe to be (advertised as and looks like to me best I can remember) the DC metal scoop.
It come with two plastic L shaped gaskets but no bolts. How does one know where drill the holes? Do they come with a template from DC when you buy them new?

No it's not functional.
It seems too heavy to use tape (stamped steel), it's not light and flimsy like the lund style plastic ones. It looks like the SRT one (I know they use a different hood with the scoop molded on) but it bolts on.

It is probably the OEM bolt-on Rumble Bee scoop. I actually have one on my 03. There is a probably a template for drilling the holes. Sorry that I can't provide any help with locating one....but I agree, that it would NOT lend itself well to staying on the hood with double-sided tape - it is too big and heavy.
