I spit out the window at a stop sign one day and had to lock it into 4 wheel drive to get going again with the stock Michelins.

Got them installed. The guy said they took no more than 3 ounces per tire to balance. I believe my bfg at's took much more.

Hope they last a while.

Your signature doesn't say anything about a leveling kit, if those are 35's they won't rub your control arms with the H2's.

put new set of Hankook RF10 285/70/17 on and have vibration. Re-balanced , front end aligned and changed the pressure every day to eliminate. The vibration speed changes depending on the pressure always between 40 and 60. Dealer said he will swap them out but wanted to know if I wanted a different brand. What do you guys think. Try the hankooks again or get something else.

If its a balance issue it will shake the faster you go not stay between 40-60. How about a u-joint going bad?
Is it lifted? Driveshaft out of alignment.

All stock. No lift. Had new u-joints put in back in the spring. Got new alignment same day as new tires. Went back to dealer this afternoon and rebalanced the tires. It is more of a wobble than a constant vibration. Like one tire was out of balance or out of round. I could see the right rear corner of the bed bouncing when it would start. Starts around 40 mph and quits at 45-50 and starts again at 58 -60. The higher the pressure the worse it got at 55 to 60 mph. Dealer couldn't get another set for at least two weeks. Put old set back on and runs without any vibration at all.

In case anyone is interested I just got my 265/70R17's last night, I haven't put them on yet but as per previous discussion in this thread the tires I got are all made in Korea...not China. Maybe they have changed plants for these tires. My Dad got some 245/75R16's for his truck last week and they are also made in Korea. His balanced out fairly decently...I'll let anyone interested know how mine balance out after tomorrow as I'm mounting them tomorrow evening.

Purchased a new set of RF10's 285 x 17 and had nothing but balance problems. Did 5 different balances on the full set and could not get it to ride smooth. Dealer was very cool to replace the full set and this fixed the prob...
You can definetly get a bad tire from this manufacture, but they are very good tires.

I mounted and balanced the tires tonight...most balanced fairly well 2 had high roadforce variation and higher weight then I would like to see, road force balanced these 2 (moved high spot of tire to low spot of rim) and road force came out good as well as weight was drastically reduced. All in all I am fairly happy with how they balanced out. My roadtest home from work was good. Tires are much quieter than I expected based on the somewhat more aggressive tread than factory. As far as 265/70R17's fitting on a dually...no problem, at least with these Hankook RF10's. Definitely no need for a spacer at this point. I would be willing to bet I could fit 285's with no problem...not sure if I really need to go any bigger however. I checked speed accuracy on the way home with my GPS and my GPS was approx 2 km/h slower than my speedo, this is pretty close to what it was with the factory 235's.

So far all in all I am happy with my decision to go with the Hankook RF10's
