any of you who have put big subwookers in our trucks

i currently have one kicker 12inch L5 in a small box sitting in the center of my middle seat with the amp incorperated into that box.

i was thinking about changing my setup and going with a 15 in kicker l7.

does anyone have ideas for what i could do to enclose this in the space? i need to be able to remove whatever is in there when neccesary to put stuff back there. and also where could i mount an amp biggenough to power it all?

any thoughts please

Cut through into the bed, then you can run 3 or 4 15"s... Al depends on what your use is. 15"s why?

15's require a lot of airspace to even sound good. You will have more sound (unless you want total base and nothing else) from a pair of 12's. they will be more efficient. I had 10-10's in a truck once, went from that to 4-15's. Now that I can't hear, I am more for sound quality! LOL

LOL, Amen, Ear Plugs, broken windshields and cracked Dashboards was enough for me. I just want to louder than my tires and to drown out the kids in the back seat!

You could mount the amp under the drivers seat, I have a Kicker ZX1000.1 (1000 rms @ 2 ohm) mounted under mine, barely fits but it does. Even airspace for 10's can be a problem in these trucks so don't know how you would mount a 15 correctly but I'm sure it could be done custom pretty sure you'd sacrifice having a back seat.
