First post - I just bought a new 07 diesel this past weekend. I traded in a 300C and the car also had the EVIC system but the truck seems to be missing the "secret" features availabe on the car. You could hold down two buttons on the car and after about 10 seconds a diagnostic menu appeared with many extra screens and features (temperatures, digital speedometer, etc.) but so far I can't find anything similar on the Ram. Does anybody know if the diagnostic mode is accessible on the truck?

 

No easter eggs that I can think of. Other than diagnostics (reading codes) from the odo display and the hour meter.

How did you like your 300c? Been thinking about a new one .

 

It was a pretty nice car. The power was not overwhelming even with the hemi. Comfortable and no rattles. The ride was a little rough but I guess they did it that way to get better handling.
