Any one else had 13 waranty claims in 5 months?

I have! Bought the truck with 28,000 miles now has 40,000 and it's at the dealer again! They have covered everything, but it costs a lot in fuel money and down time every time this happens. Does anyone have experience like this with the Dodge trucks? Does anyone have any advice?

Are they repeating problems for the same issue or all different problems?

The main recurring issue is the cam position censor code coming on with the check-engine light. they have replaced wiring harness, injector pump, ecm, mirror, heater recirc door, weather stripping, etc. I'm without my truck today because it is at the dealer getting a broken bolt rplaced that mounts the turbo to the exhaust manifold. i called the dealer where I bought it, I talked to the service manager at the Dodge dealer where I get it serviced, and I have talked to a chrysler rep on the 800 number, and still no help!

That really sucks and I hate to hear it.

I am actually going to need to go for my first time because I just noticed my right real axle seal is leaking. I am right at 34k miles

With only 40,000 miles on it, now may be the time to trade it in. There are lemons with any brand and it could be that you have one. You say you bought it with 28K. Have the dealers go back and see what warranty work was done on it in the first 28K. If there were lots of issues that may be why someone got rid of it. Going with new or different may not be a bad plan at this point. Sorry to hear about your truck. Good luck!

Isn't it nice to have long warrantys.I remember not that long ago it was 12/12.Be thankful its getting repaired.Lots of folks in your situation trade and the next owner has got smooth sailing.Just depends if you want to see it through or be the one handling it for the next owner.

Well, I got the truck back from the dealer today. I did finally get to talk to an attorney about the lemon law, and he said that depending on wether the first owner had complaints with it, we may have a breach in waranty. In the mean time, I got ahold of the owner of the dealer that I bought the truck from, and he said that he felt bad and sent me $200 to pay for some of my fuel costs for going 140 mls round trip to the dodge dealer ten or fifteen times. Then, he told me that if the problem persists, he will trade me for a different one. Well, that was a nice gesture, and I was happy to get some response from someone, finally! Anyway, I will see what happens now. If the check engine light comes on one more time, Something major will have to happen! It's embarrasing to spend this much money for a truck and have it in the shop all of the time!!!!

The worst part about that, is that you get ripped off when you trade in, especially the mods!

Atleast they are covering everything for you with the Edge on your truck.
Over 46,000 myself only fix was a rear U-joint.

I'm sure not complaining about the service of this dealer! They have never mentioned my mods, and they're certainly not hidden! It's just crazy that an 06 with 40k should have this many problems!
