Any new updates...Hankook ATM RF10s

I'll be needing new tires at the end of summer. I'm going back to 285/70/17s from the 295/70/17 Toyo MTs I'm running now.

The Hankooks gained a lot of popularity when they first came out,but there haven't been many updates since last year. Are the guys running them still liking them?

I've got about 12,000 miles on mine and they are wearing pretty darn good. I'll definitely buy them again.

I have the tires in 315/70/17 size on the stock rims. The wear on these tires seem to be pretty good. I have 10,000 miles on them and they show little to no wear. They said with the tire size and towing I might have a problem. I tow a 33ft 8000lb travel trailer with no problems at all. The sidewalls seem real strong compared to the BFs and other tires of this size. Will deffinately buy again.

I have the stock 265 size and love them. I only have about 3k on them so far, so can't comment on wear. But, they're quiet and are a huge improvement in traction over the Michelin OEMs.

Just put on a set of stock ATM's they are quiet, seems to ride a little smoother also.

The only negative(besides being Commie-built) issue I've read was an owner with a slide in camper. He's experiencing excessive tire squirm over the Toyos he previously had. The difference of 700# load capacity might be the basis of that observation. 4Wheeler mag gave them two thumbs up in a 1/2 ton application.

AFM RF-10s

I run the RF-10s and tow heavy ! They have been an excellent tire ! 30,000 km and they look new as well. Also they rock on snow and ice as well as rain. Not too much mud experience with them.

Got about 7k on mine, just did the first rotation, holding up great so far. Awesome traction in the snow last winter, fairly quiet, get a few compliments here and there. Great price too....what's not to like?

Had mine for over a year now. Wear is great, Awesome traction in mud! Had to pull my trailer in mud that was up to the hub caps (with dual tires in rear) and didn't really even have to hit 4wd...I was amazed I still had traction! Works good in snow and ice as well as rain, quiet tire with the best speed and load ratings I found when looking. Highly recommended and would definitely put on again. I made my father buy the same for his truck and he is just as impressed. Mine were made in Korea as were my fathers.

I tried ATMs a month ago and they were the squirmiest handling tires I ever had. It felt a lot like a mixture of radials and bias - if you were around in those days. I could feel the truck wondering even going in a straight line and curves and wind was flatout treacherous! I wanted the AS's but they were on B/O so I had the tire shop change then to Michelins. I've got about 30K on mine and they are still over 50%. I'll be buying them again.
