Another Lock Issue

First off, I would like to introduce myself to the forum, as I have never posted here before. I have recently discovered this forum, and found it to be what seems the most informative one out there.

Now for my issue. I looked through a few pages of lock related issues, and didn't see anything pertaining to my issue, so here goes. Both my driver and rear drivers side door locks don't work. I checked the wiring to the door, the front looks good, but in the rear I did find a few broken wires (purple and green). I repaired those breaks, which seemed to be the reason why my light didn't come on. All the other wires looked fine. My rear door will lock from the remote, switch on the drivers door, or when my truck goes over 15 mph. But I have to unlock it by hand. My drivers door however does not lock or unlock electronically, only when I manually move the lock it moves freely. I haven't taken the door panel off (I have never been good at getting them to stay back on) but is this something stupid I am missing, or am I just that unlucky that two actuators have failed simultaneously? Thank you in advance for all the help.

- When you push the button, does the actuator move?

-- If it does, check the linkage from the actuatopr to the lock mechanism.

-- If it does not, start checking the wiring. Start at the actuator, and move back through the circuit.
