almost bought an 06 today

Sure liked the truck, was a quadcab long box 4x4 auto

white, rhino lined bed, bushwacker fender flares, leather and big fat wheels

someone had straight piped it with what looked like 5 inch pipe turbo back, bit obnoxious for me

thing I didn't like was the truck was all over the road, it really hunted the ruts. Perhaps the tires were low on air pressure but didn't appear to be, it had the low profile 17 inch wheels and the tires were wide, perhaps 13 inshes wide.
My 95 has 12.5 wide and it doesn't hunt nearly as bad.

had 110k miles, the box looked brand new.

offered me 7500 for my 95 in the sig
and 26k for the 2006

the toolbox wasnt' in it anymore

It looks to have had a programmer in it at one time, but I don't know the mounts by sight to tell which

Seller is out of his mind. 26k for 110k miles = too much.

26k bought my 32k mile truck.

And the tire/wheel combo is hideous

For the steering, these trucks like to wonder around a little bit. Usually it's the play in the steering box and a steering box brace cleans it up.

I don't know, 7500 sounds pretty good for your 95 with 240k

7500 is way high for my truck

she needs some TLC

I'm still tempted, not really finding anything much better.

It's worth 24k I figure, plus my truck isn't worth 7500 on trade either

Its those expensive tires on that newer truck holding me off, they are bald and expensive looking.

also not sure I'm liking the idea of a younger dude straightpiping it and plugging in a controller

so I'll look for an older mans truck with stock everything

I think you have hit the nail on the head here. I'd also keep looking.
