Air meter falls out of the air cleaner box?

The meter gizmo on my air cleaner box seems to fall off easily (gets bumped off when im under the hood) any one else have this problem. It has done this from day one the rubber is on it and it is hard to get back in place but it seems like it comes out easily. I check everytime i put it back in to see that the rubber nipple is correctly through the box. Do you think a new one is in order?

Must be something wrong with it. They usually require a bunch of twisting and pulling to get them out.

Why not just reinstall it with some RTV gasket sealer?
