05Quad, did you finally get your recharge hose connected? I'm having the same problem... I'm assuming these are universal connections and I'm not putting enough pressure attaching it.

Mine has been blowing warm on the passenger side for about a year. I wonder what my chances are of getting the Dodge dealer to fix this? It's still under warranty, but they charge me a $100 deductible on the Chrysler MaxCare warranty I bought.

Maybe better just to do it myself?

extended warranties **** me off. so many things aren't covered and then they hit you with the "deductible". you would be way better off to go buy the kit pictured above and fill the system your self. once you have done it you will say," that was too easy". and you will only be out around $25.

i bought some arctic freeze synthetic crap because my ac wasnt cooling very good when i went to plug it in, the gauge was in the blue at filled. it was on max and recirc. and i drove it on the highway for 15min then when i checked it again it said it was low and it took all 22oz of it. but it still isnt cool it works pretty much the same.

guy at the parts store told me to stay away from synthetic. said some systems dont like it and stick with what it came with. dont know how true this is.

Oh yeah that makes sense, I read the can and it said 18oz 134a and 4oz lubricating oil and sealant
