After market grills

I'm thinking about getting an after market grill. I want to get rid of the stock "cross-hair" look. Anyone have any recommendations for a good quality replacement grill? How about pics?

T-rex and Roadmax have grilles that will get rid of the crosshair look.

t-boe,

is that a cover or one that requires cutting of the OEM grill to install?

The T-Rex requires cutting. The Roadmax is a full replacement (the stock grill is unbolted from the hood and replaced with a new one), but it's quite a bit more expensive than the T-Rex. I would like to have the Roadmax so I could swap grilles during the winter so the nice one wouldn't get beat up by salt and sand.

I put on Precision Grilles polished aluminum billet classic grill and matching bumper insert over 3 years ago. I modified the bumper insert to fit around the tow hooks. I am happy with the product, although I do need to polish the set now.

I have a Roadmax RDX grille shell with 4mm billet insert. This is a direct replacement grille. No cutting.

Install on the Roadmax is as simple as removing the old grille and replacing it with the RDX and your done. They do have a setup that have a spot for two 4" offroad lights too.

Anyone bought a grille from them? It looks like they have factory shell replacements for a good price - what is the quality? is it the ABS plastic or is it Stainless/Chrome? My factory shell got cracked and chipped recovering a stuck truck and I am looking to replace without spending a fortune.

Same here, I like the prices from LMC, plus I want to buy a paintable replacement, instead of chrome, because id like to do the sport surround look, with the billet inserts...
Just never used LMC, so im not sure on the quality.

Oh i kinda like that. I doubt it would work on our trucks though with the intercooler and radiator right there and i wonder how much air flow it blocks.

Probably fits HEMI trucks only.
