ok..so now you basically got a 2 for 1 on the fobiks with keys...or even a slightly better deal....now you just need to get a dealer to spend 10 minutes with their computer and get it all programmed......i can't wait to hear how it comes out!

Maybe you can even talk the mechanic or service mgr into doing it for free.....if it works, they can make some money off of upselling other customers....I'd try talking them into it...it can't hurt. Maybe you could post the tech info in the 4th gen area if there is one....

Glad it worked for you!
If you guys are interested. I am a chrysler tech and can install the factory keyless on 2010 and 2011 st's for a reasonable price. I live near St Louis and can come to you. I can get the fobik or you can get it from https://www.ikeyless.com/vehicles/Do...nableJSCheck=1. Its up to you but the cheapest I can get them is $100 each my cost. So there is considerable savings if you pick them up but mine are genuine chrysler parts I dont know about the ones on this website.
If you are interested just pm me thanks. and thanks heloman!!

I'm new to the forum, looking to purchase a 2011 3500 ST. Does anyone know if this proceedure will work on a 3500 or is the receiver perhaps built into the TPS monitor?
Thanks in advance.

The procedure mentioned by Heloman69 where you purchase fobs and have the dealership reprogram the features of your truck. I have heard of other vehicals where the TPS receiver also handles remote keyless entry. As the 3500 doesn't have keyless I was curious if this method works on a 3500.

Ok...I'm not aware of the TPMS receiver handling keyless entry features as well. All of the trucks have a WIN (wireless ignition node), which is what gets reprogrammed (there may be something else that gets reprogrammed during the process, but I'm not sure). As long as you have power locks, the previously mentioned procedure should work for you just fine. You might want to send a msg to the member listed above as "MO2500". He is a Dodge Tech and might have a better technical explanation than I do. You could also ask the other Dodge Tech "CBRAHS" listed above. The procedure has worked for everyone else who has tried it so far, as long as they have power locks. Good luck and let us know how you make out.

I just talked to my dealer and they are gonna try this on my 2011 ST. But i want to go one step further and get remote start, too. What extra programming needs to be done in addition to the keyless entry programming?
