Adding Front Tow Hooks

Is there a write-up or a link to adding/installing Mopar tow hooks on a '03-'07 Ram?

ANy tips or tricks on installing them?

I did mine a year or so ago, takes about 45 minutes. You can drink beer while doing this.

You'll need:
masking/painters tape
Tow hooks, support brackets and bolts.
Philips screwdriver
Forked prying tool like a dandelion digger or upholstery plastic clippy thing remover.
18mm deep well socket for the bumper to frame bolts.
Box wrenches, sockets, u-joints, extensions for the tow hook bolts and nuts. I think they are 13, 14, and/or 15mm.
A jack.

1) Remove plastic tow hook covers by unscrewing the lone plastic screw and popping them out from the front. Inevitably, the screw won't come out, so use the dandelion digger.
2) Place jack under the right side of the front bumper, raise jack under the plastic bumper lip (air dam) and put a bit of compression on the lip. NOT SO MUCH as to deform the lip. All you need to do is hold 1/2 the weight of the bumper, not raise the truck. The bumper doesn't weigh much.
3) Place a piece of masking tape over a seam where the bumper meets the fender or other body panel. go ahead and cut the tape through the seam. you'll use this for alignment just in case the jack isn't perfect. You may want to do this in a couple of places for in/out and up/down alignment.
4) Remove the right side bumper to frame nuts and bolts. I think the bolt heads are attached together on a bracket, so just turn the nuts.
5) Install tow hook brackets with bumper to frame bolts and nuts. DONT TIGHTEN.
6) Feed the tow hook from the front, wiggling it through the bumper.
7) Install tow hook bolts/nuts onto the brackets. Now you should understand why you should not tighten the bumper-frame nuts. You need to allow the tow hook bolts to pull the brackets forward into the frame end. Anyways, this is the tricky part. You use box wrenches and sockets/wobbles/extentions, sometimes from the front, sometimes from the back, sometimes both. Not difficult, just tricky. As you tighten these, make sure the hook is nicely aligned in the bumper opening.
8) Tighten the bumper to frame bolts.
9) Lower jack and check the masking tape for alignment.

Repeat for left side tow hook.

Sweet thanks!!!

Does anyone know the thread pitch and/or size of the bolts/nuts/washers/hardware needed to install the hooks?

Basically I will need:
1) Two tow hooks
2) 4 brackets, two for each side that run down the frame rail
3) Mounting Hardware

I am buying these used, and just wanted to make sure of everything that is needed for the install.

Does anyone have pics of the parts?

You just need the 2 towhooks, and 8 bolts. I installed mine on my 1500 Megacab (2500 frame) and all the brackets are in place behind the bumper with the 8 holes drilled and treaded already. In my case I also had to trim the plastic filler in the bumper, but I think diesels do not have one. I did not even take the bumper off. Good luck

I might have to take a peek behind the bumper and see if the brackets are there.....

The extra brackets are most likely not there. The frame rail end expands to look like an appropriate hook mounting flange, but is too thin of metal to hold any significant load. The tow hook hardware pulls the brackets forward into the rail flange. IIRC, the hook bolts are grade 8.

There are a few kits on ebay with brackets/bolts/hooks for $110 or so.
