AC compressor down
AC compressor down
Was sitting at a red light and thought "hey, i need to run my AC compressor just to keep it working" I live in the NW so i havnt really used AC in the last 3 years. I do turn it on just to keep the internals lubed.
Well a few seconds after i turned it on i felt my truck shutter and started smelling a burning rubber smell. Pulled over and checked everything in the engine bay. Couldnt find anything but smelt a real bad burning rubber/plastic smell. Got back in the truck and realized no cold air was blowing.
putting two and two together and i fried my AC compressor.
Anyone know of a wrecked truck i can get a pull off from?
