Angry Abs

I replaced the pads and rotors on my truck(2003 quad cab diesel) and my ABS and brake light immediately came on and won't go off. Truck stops fine. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you open the bleed valve before you depressed the calipers? If not you forced dirty fluid back into the ABS system which could be the problem.

I have been trying to resolve an ABS and brake light issue myself, with the difference being that I haven't serviced my brakes recently. There are abs sensors on both the front hubs and one on the rear diff that can go bad or have wiring issues and will throw the abs lights. Low brake fluid or contaminated fluid in the ABS system could also be the issue. If you find an O'Reilys some of them have the new scanner that can read ABS codes. Best way to narrow down the problem between sensors or fluid issue.
