5% is what I had put on a week ago. I love it so far. I just make sure I know where I'm at when I park at night. There's no seeing out the back glass. Might get some backup lights here in the future.

If you're looking at it from the side, or with the sun shining through, it's obvious 35% is not as dark as the back.

If you look at it from an angle, it looks just as dark as the back.

I love my 5%+20% all the way around mine, plus the factory tint on the back. If I can't see were I am going at night I have power windows and they can come down if needed. My wifes '97 only has 5% on the front but double 5% on the Ext. cab, My way was to dark for her but since I drive it some I said it is getting atleast 5%, plus I am paying for it.

I've got an 07.5 mega, and i'm getting tint done tomorrow. Going to mach the rear doors. The rear glass was not done at all. I don't know why, but I've seen others that way.

Anyone know why they don't do the rear window on some models?

i would go with atleast 15% or 18%. different places have different tint and different percentages. i went with 5% all the way around and i love it and i live in TN. I dont think they really care as long as it isnt a state trooper and youre not drawing a lot of attention to yourself.

I had 35% on my last windshield, now I am running 20% on it, I absolutely love it. Makes it easy on the eyes since I hate to wear sunglasses.

I've got 5 all around, made it really hard backing up at night. But now with my back up camera, it's all good. I'm really tempted to tint the windshield a little, but I'm a little worried about night driving with windshield tint. You can legally run a UV film on the front windshield, it can't be tinted thou, would this help with glare?
