285's and chains?

I'm about due for tires and was thinking of moving up to 285's. My truck has the 2" front end leveling kit. Will I still have enough clearance to chain up? Thanks in advance!

Haven't ever put 285 chains on, but I think there's enough room. 285/70's have alot of room left up front on my 07. At least 1-1/2" at full lock, probably more. And that's with no leveling kit.

I ran 285 on my 2005 without a leveling kit with no problems. So I think you should be ok since you do have the leveling kit

Just chained up my truck last week during hunting season. Week before that I upgraded to 285 BFG AT. No problem lock to lock with stock suspension.

Thanks guys. I guess I'll go for the 285's. The wife is going to love me...
