How do your license fee's work?

If I registered for 8K, weighed 7K but had 2K in the bed I would be illegal.. and they are starting to ticket for it here in Idaho.

True if you get caught but have yet to see anyone get stopped, most of my towing is done on county back roads, but if I did more towing on the Freeway or other states where they have scales then I would pay the extra fee of $20.00 per ton to increase my weight limit. Right now 8K cost me $80.00 a year for license fees as my truck is grandfathered in at the old lower rate.
