Gears? Transmission? Tires? Load rating on the wheels?

I'm sure it will be less than with the stockers. I felt it some in the seat of the pants when I put 35's on my truck.

That isn't a problem. Get some E rated tires.

You need to make sure your rims can hold the weight too safely.

What gears and transmission do you have?

I haul with 20s and 35s. Have hauled hay (round bales), cattle 14 (1,000 avg.) cows, just last friday, tractors ( JD 5205 w/loader, 2940, 6200 w/ loader). I have had 0 problems at all. Just make sure you get some wheels that are rated for a good weight rating and some E rated tires, and you should be fine.

You're gonna be held back a little by the gearing.. I'd go as far as saying watch your transmission heat depending on your driving style.

Other than that you should be ok if your wheels/tires are rated properly. I'd shoot for 3400lbs each... Seems to be the norm if you look around.

I went with the 19.5 rims the tire is good for 5500lb each X 6....the wheels are rated 3400lb each.on the 4 aluminum's the 2 steels are good for the 5500lb.

I've got 325/60/20's and 3.73 gears with the 48RE and pull a 10k TT - I bought this truck off the lot, but if I were ordering, I'd have gotten the 4.10 gears instead - it pulls great and all, but the 4.10's would definitly help out on some of the bigger hills that we have around here.

All in all, I'm very happy with the way it performs tho!!
