photoshop
actually i think that is a photoshop (but i could be wrong ) but the body lines dont match up neither do the rear windows way off line from the front ones . how about a ram with a cab on it and the lines smoothed out by photo shop!

Guys, I saw the 2nd gen ramcharger in Mexico and it looked wayyyy better than a suburban. That is the worst photo shopping I have seen in these spoofing kind of shots. A megacab CTD powerwagon with 35's with an avalanche style back wall would be cooler. ks

total chop job.....First the hose that goes nowhere...Then the sheetmetal on the back wall doesnt line up....then look at the concrete behind the rear tire...doesnt match the concrete on the side of the tire...
too many stright lines....not that good really
All you have to do is look at the C pillar and back glass. There is no way any modern vehicle would be built with such a disregard to asthetics. It looks, like Scotty said, a Leer cap. The C pilllar isn't symetric, I don't care if it's a photoshop or something someone had built, it's nothing Dodge would make as is.
For whatever reason,GM has the market on these things and nobody can or will challenge them.Be it the enviormentalists or whoever you can't get anything off the ground. I had an Excursion with the 7.3 and it was awsome compared to anything GM was building. After 99 you can't even get a diesel in the suburban, and when you did the 4x4 GM had a towing capacity of 6600 lbs with the crap diesel they had.Ford should have stompped on them and it never happened. The tree huggers did all they could to savatage the Excursion(proberly funded by GM)and they were succesful as it is no longer built. When I would here all they had to say about the Ex. you would think the Suburban got 50 mpg. They never said anything about the suburban but slammed the ford for fuel milage and size. With this being said my prediction is you'll never see a full size Dodge or any other manufacture for that matter attemt that again. They learned from Ford.
Bring back the Ramcharger! GM has a diesel SUV in the works.
I sure wish they'd bring it back. Over on the getrammed.com website, a DC exec said this regarding the intro of the new Dodge Chassis Cab:
The chassis cab segment in class 3 represents what we call "white space opportunity." Today it's currently dominated by GM and Ford which own over 90 percent of the share in this segment. As you look for places where you can compete you obviously are going to look at places where there aren't that many competitors.
Hmmmmm...seems like the same logic could be applied to the Suburban/Excursion market. And it can't be that hard to engineer the sucker, just a stretched MegaCab.
Also, I read in AutoWeek (January 9th, 2006, page 22) that GM is bringing out a new 6.0 liter diesel later this year for it's full sized SUVs. Can't help but think that a CTD Ramcharger would be a homerun. DC, are you listening?
