Hello,

As we all know, many people had problems with their cab clearance lights that leak. For those that have 2006 trucks w/ clearance lights, have you had any water problems?

not yet...Only had the truck 3 months and 1 rain storm....I'll have to let you know after July & august, when we get the monsoons.

I bought an 06, and had the dealer install the clearance lamps. Not a single leak, and we've had plenty of rain.

 

No leaks yet with my clearance lights or the sunroof for that matter.

 

With the rain we have had, since buying the truck, if it were leaking, we would have noticed something by now. In the last month, we have had rain like Noah saw... No leaks showing.

 

I've seen quite a bit of rain and snow since I bought mine and haven't seen any leaks...

As you can see from my signature, I have had nothing but leaks with the cab marker lights. I have replaced several of the originals and have had three complete sets of the Recons. They have all leaked in time. Very frustrating. Last week I installed the 2006 OEM style. They are a new design with a separate base gasket. I installed them last Thursday. We have had several downpours since then and I ran it through the touchless car wash. So far so good. If they hold up I may even change my signature, but I will never own another truck with cab marker lights. I had no choice when I ordered mine. I see now where you can order the cab marker delete option on the 3500 SRW.
