Questions about 2006-2007 rams.

Looking at upgrading to a newer mega cab and I have a few questions:
Were heated mirrors standard on Laramie trim packages?
What is the build code for a posi rear end? (or should I lay a patch and count the number of stripes?)

Any issues other then blend door and the jumping belt to watch for?

Find a truck you like and PM me the VIN. I'll run it for you and check the options. All the SLT and up trim levels I'm pretty sure got heated mirrors. The fold out tow mirrors would have been an option, and as long as they are power they too should be heated. Look for the button on the a/c control head.

I am looking at the brochure that I got when I bought my 2006.

The power, heated, folding 7”x10 trailer-tow”, black mirrors are optional on the SLT, TRX4 Off-road, Sport, Power Wagon, and Laramie. It also shows that they are not available on the ST or the SRT10.

I can’t help you on the rear end.

Sorry, overlooked that question. DSA is the code for Anti-Spin Differential.

I havent had any a/c or belt issues with mine. I did just change the belt today at 43k miles and it would have run for quite a while longer from the looks of it. I kept the old one for a spare.
