Looking at purchasing a used 2006 Laramie QC 4x4 Auto with a little less than 60K pretty good shape overall just a few minor dings and scrapes. Curious on what it should sell for Blue book price is about $30K. Also from the records it appears the oil has been changed only about 6 times since purchase date in early 2007.

Should I be concerned or look for any issues related to so few oil changes?
Any other problems to look out for on this model?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

 

Oil change is 15K per manual.

Most do it more frequently, I do it every 6 months regardless of mileage. I have 72K on mine and she's had 13-14, the extras due to two injector failures.

 

I do mine once every roughly 3 months, I got 87k on mine.

 

I do mine every 8k or twice a year, and my 06 is fine. should not be a problem if they used good oil and fuel filters.

 

I change my oil every 20k supported by oil analysis.

 

I try to change mine every 10k, but sometimes I'm on the road too much to get to it, but I've never let it go over 20k!
