Greetings - I want to upgrade to a 2015 Ram, and would like to sell my present truck. In 2008 in installed a Greasecar Vegetable Fuel Systems | Greasecar Vegetable Fuel Systems straight vegetable oil conversion, complete with 80 gallon tank in the bed. The conversion is only to the fuel side allowing heated SVO (straight vegetable oil) to be used as fuel. The engine itself has not been modified in any way. It can be run exclusively on diesel. When running SVO the diesel is used to heat the SVO, and once the 160F temperature is reached an onboard computer turns off the diesel fuel pump and a six port valve switches from diesel to SVO fuel. The only difference you may notice is the exhaust smells like french fries.

At the ranch I have a facility that filters and dewaters feedstock, complete with a fueling station in my tool shed. You drive up to the shed and fill 'er up. Using SVO you get over 800 MPG on diesel, as it is only used to initially heat the SVO. Once you are on SVO and cruising, your diesel fuel tank gauge does not budge. Cool!

The truck has been well maintained, and has been used as a ranch truck to haul hay, feed, and cattle.
