12V outlet issues

hey guys

on my 3500, the power points work, well two out of three do, the one by the drivers side where the 4x4 shifter is does not work, i have tried to get to it already, and have only gotten as far as to pull off the bottom cover, and only the small ashtray type thing...

I have checked the fuse, and i have found it to be good, The point just doesnt work, and would like to fix it, I have tried to pull it, but it seems it has a twist or so to it

anyone know how to fix it? or remove it so i can better check it?

Thanks!

Rick

I know the other one on the dash quit and we ended up pulling it out with a screw driver. It was a tough pull.

have to pull center face plate off, that houses the radio and hvac controls. that has to be removed so u can replace the 12v power source. do not attempt to pull it, u might damage the wires that connect to the 12v power source.
