08 headlight adjustment
08 headlight adjustment
I had a couple of spring spacers moved and now I occasionally get a headlight flash from oncoming traffic. I can't find any instructions on adjusting these in the manual. Any information out there on where the adjustings screws are to lower them.
Yeah, you just found out about, one of the many quirks that our rams have. There is no adjustment. They are factory aimed and the only way to adjust them would be to change the light assemblies. You can have the Dealership's do a suspension and tire alignment and see if that fixes your problem. Otherwise, just live with the flashes. I got a stock 2500 truck and I get flash every once and a while.
Although, I been thinking of just using washers or a shims under the front inside screws under the plastic honeycomb plate. The only disadvantage would be that you would only have an up and down aim not a side to side aim.

i found that there is a adjustment for up and down only.
just to the inside of the head lamp assy. lift up the hood and look about halfway down from the top edge of the light assy. move the rubber weather strip you will find a hole, in the black headlight frame.. it takes a special driver to adjust. looks like a 6 pointed star. a t-20 is the size.
there's a rod from this socket to the adjuster at the rear of the lamp assy. the adjustment moves the bulb up or down.
