'07 tailgate stuck

I have an '07 quad cab long bed 6.7l with a stuck tail gate. I got if from my brother who has had a medical emergency and he can't tell me what is wrong. Suggestions???

Can you access the bed? Get inside and take the access panel off the inside of the tailgate. You should see the problem then. Might be clips, trash in the mechanism.

Thanks, finally got to looking at this, the clip on the one rod had let loose. Drop of super glue to save the clip, re install the rod, problem solved. Thanks Madhat appreciate the help.

the super glue will only hold for a little while and then it will let loss at the wrong time and you will be in the same boat your were it is best to go get a new clip and be done with it
