06 seat covers
06 seat covers
Does anyone know for sure if the seats in the 06 2500 and 3500 trucks are the same?
Have a chance to buy a set of oem seat covers that came out of an 06 2500 but don't know if they are the same as my 3500. The seat pattern and coloris the same.
Caleed my Dodge dealer and asked them but they were unable to tell me for sure.

Hey herb.
Outside of the lumbar adjuster, they are the same. It would be easy to just put the hole in for the **** if you needed to, or have an upholsterer do it for you.
By the way, we LOVE the Sluggy carriage we got from you a couple years ago. It still looks like new, the NM weather has yet to break down the folding top material, well made buggy.

Glad you like your Sluggy---visited my site latley ? we have added a linse of miniature products and a couple new Harley Davidson pieces.
I am located in New Mexico. We made the trip to your place to pick it up as we were on our way to Minnesota to visit with family. Michigan was just a little detour to get there. We left your place in the mid-afternoon, just in time to hit the Chicago rush on the east side on our way up to Wisconsin/Minnesota. While sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic creeping our way around Chicago, several people commented as they were alongside us sitting still what a GEORGEOUS BUGGY we had sitting on the flatbed.
Claudia took good care of us from the initial contact to the day we picked up the Sluggy. I get on your site now and then, the mini stuff is cute. We have Shires, so it might be a little hard to configure the shafts to those little buggies, might look a little silly too. I guess we could design a hitch to pull them like doubles behind the Sluggy and put the grandkids in them - imagine that picture?
I guess I did not ask you about your seat configuration - just assumed you would have the standard seat type buckets with the fold down armrest/jump seat in the middle. If you have buckets with a console the standard bucket stuff might work anyway. The only difference in the standard cab seats IS the lumbar handle. I have a friend who did not catch that option when ordering her seat covers, so we just punched a hole and used a piece of teflon gasket material glued to the inside to support the material. Worked great. You could probably see that Amish guy that does your buggy tops and get him to do it for you.
Please say HELLO to Claudia for us, besides hello please tell her Carol and Kathy also send their best wishes. We could do with another great meal like the one we had in that little cafe in town again. You were home from one of your runs and met us briefly, you looked pretty tired, and the shop was calling your name. Claudia ran us to town in your truck for breakfast. She really liked driving your truck by the way. Needs one like it for her very own. That was in June 2004, I think she told us you had gone to TX or OK - out of state anyway - and picked the truck up sometime around the time just before we were there. We got to hear a good story about you, buying off the internet, etc - I bet you might recognize her possible rant? It kinda sounded like you had seen some pictures, it suited you, and you went and got it.
Anyway, we really DO like the Sluggy, maybe there will be a wagon of some type down the line next year, this time we'll have you deliver it, as I am not going to entertain another visit to Michigan. Actually, if we had known you delivered, we would have done that the first time!
Have a GREAT Thanksgiving Herb.
