I drove with my brother for about 250 miles today. He's making as good mileage as my 03 makes. He has about 500miles on it. Have they changed something??

 

Ted and what would that be? I've noticed the more I drive it and not harmmering the throtle it keeps geting better. Grant you I'll drive my Yamaha R1 and Porsche if I want to hammer it and get somewere fast

 

what's the Mpg ?

 

His overhead is reading anywhere form 19- 20 mpg, and that is some city driving, but mostly highway. IF his fuel guage is the same as mine(and his was) on the '03, he made 320km on a 1/4 tank, which would indicate that his overhead is very accurate. We still have to do some hand calcualtions etc., but the initial trips look very encouraging!

 

Ted, is his truck stock, what gears, mileage, is it a 4x4, does he have any mods? Do tell.......

 

Great question! (He should be on this site, as this is his 4'th CTD.)He has a single axle 1 Ton, quad cab, auto, 4X4, 373gears, canopy, long box. Basically the same as mine, except 3500 SLT, with LOOONG box. It's stock except for AFE drop in.
