Will '06-07 seats fit into a 04.5 truck? My front seats are ripped up and I like the look of the newer seats. If I can find a set close to NJ, I am going to buy them, but just want to make sure they fit. Thanks...

 

Are you sure you want 06-07 seats, cause they are very uncomfortable.

 

I don't know if it's my extra padding or what, but these are the most uncomfortable seats I've ever had in a truck.

 

I think they're the MOST comfortable seats I've ever had in a truck!

Only downside: fabric stains with... water

 

I like my 07 seats better than my 05. The 05 seats were so mushy that I would ache by the end of the day.

 

Fabric definately stains with WATER!!! I could not believe it but there it is my buddies 06 rained in the window and the seat is severely stained!!

 

the 06 seats are the worst. Go find a ford of late that the PS blew and use those seats.

 

The 06 seats do stain very easy. but on a long trip they make you stay awake.

 

My 07 seats are alot better covered in leather than the stock fabric. My wifes 03 has horrible seats they are too short from your butt to the back of your knees feels like your going to slide right out the bottom.

Give me my gen 2 (1997) seats! I will be checking the bolt pattern and if they fit I am getting a replacement... The 2006 seats STINK... EVEN with the "seat fix"

The back upper part hits me right under my shoulder blades and hurts after an hour.. It has the same problem Under sprung and needs more foam so the top part does not bludge and cause a high spot.

Also the width for my hips is way to narrow and my bones hit the hard parts/frame... even with 2 layers of 1.5" foam they still are horrid.. My gen 1 bench seat was more comfortable! Design engineered for a 5' 8" 150 lb lightweight.

Any replacement seat ideas welcome (links) PLEASE!

 

Count me in on the 06 seats suck, stain and uncomfortable, they stain if you sneeze near them.

I love my 02 seats, but they sit too low, I feel like I'm in a 4x2 not a 4x4, especially when I switch from the 2500 to the 1500.

My 06 has 6 way and my 02 are manual, but even my 06 at it's lowest position is a few inches higher than the 02's, but man those 02's are cushy.

 

Other than the easy staining, i dont mind my seats at all. Plus my seat covers add an extra little bit of padding so that makes them even better.

 

07 seats suck!!! They're made out of some organic crap that stain very easy. My daughter fel asleep and drooled on the seat and the spot has been there since. I left a window cracked and it rained that night, left little spots all over. can barely see them but still
