Is anyone else having paint chip problems? My 03 and my 05 have been through the same conditions and driving conditions, and the 05 seems to be taking a beating. Over the front fenders, the hood and cab. My front bumpers even getting rust spots. Fog lights on both got taken out early. But still as with my 03 I have gotten to 65,000 Km and (knock on wood) not one windshield chip

 

Iv got a few in my Silver 05 but they have been from pebbles kicked up by passing vehicles on the road or inconsiderate idiots in parking lots.

 

The black paint on my '05 is really bad. Small scratches just seem to appear! This is the worst paint I've seen.

 

I put the Mopar bra on my truck for this very reason. It fits well and protects the areas that are most prone to getting chipped/dinged, including the foglights and condenser. Plus I think it looks cool!
