Spooler,

Did you ever get your ac fixed correctly? Or is it still giving you issues?

Hey guys, I've been reading almost all these posts, mine is doing the whole 10 degrees warmer on pass side, but if I turn my fan speed down to speed 2 the passenger side will cool down to 50-55... Would this be more of the blend door or low freon, or both?

Low charge every one to two years, just like everyone else....LOL
Otherwise it works 10 times better than stock.

Noop, I had to recharge it again this year. Not worried about it. Simple fix.
Only way it will be completely fixed is if Ram gives me a new truck... that's
not gonna happen though.

I think I will just recharge it and see that happens then...I was thinking about doing the line and condensor upgrade, but I think it is now wasted money.

Thoughts?

Not wasted money at all. It's ice cube cold and stock it wouldn't come close. I just still have to hit it with a little R134a from time to time.

Hey guys, how many ounces of 134a are you putting into the system after the mod? Are you weighing it in or charging to certain pressures? If so what are they w/ subcooling/superheat? TIA

With the fan, as stated above you can control the head pressure better with the fan and this allows you to put in more refrigerant, hence colder A/C quicker. Total cost of the parts were $155 dollars plus shipping from Summit. If it works good I will post up the part numbers from Summit Racing so everyone can have at it. I should of done this a long time ago......
I have a manual trans truck and was looking at this, do I need the Derale relay? Or can I just wire the fan direct to the A/C clutch and have the fan come on when the clutch engages?

You will need it due to the fan's amp draw on the system. Just turn the temp probe adjusment all the way up.

Is there another relay without all the other connections?

I ordered the fan. Does anyone know the connector p/n's for the A/c comp? Also the one that comes on the fan?
