Ok, I'm going to go test drive an '03 3500 SRW quad cab long bed 4x4 tomorrow. It's a stick. If I get it, I already have a Bully Dog Triple Dog left over from '04 6 Point Slow Liter Powerstroke. Would it work on the '03? If not what should I get? I was just hoping to test out Crazy Larry on it..... It's loaded to the max Laramie and it only has 31k miles. $27k too high for this?

 

Lets just say that I got my truck 1 1/2 yrs ago for $22,000/ 22,000miles 2wd. seems like you should be able to get that truck for a few $k lower.

 

I about have the same truck (8FT box not 6 FT) and auto not stick,65k on it and got it for under $25,000., just keep in mind I live in a small area with 3 kinds of people,on welfare,retired and the few who work about 3%.

As for the Bully Dog Triple Dog I have no idea.

Dump the BDDL, they suck on the 03-04s. Get a Smarty or Quad box and never look back. The 03-04s are the best of the 5.9Ls, no cats, very simple electronics, etc....

 

dont run a quad on the 03 it killed my injectors 3 times and then motor paid 27k for that truck 2 yrs ago drw 4x4 and it had 57k on it

 

i think thats way to much money for it! but thats just my opinion

How did the QUAD box itself kill your injectors three times? That is a bold statement. How was the fuel filtered? I know of quite a few 305/555 engines running Race boxes none the less, no issues at all.
