It's just a ballpark. When I was studying prices before I got my truck, I plugged all relevant info into nada and edmunds. they never matched up, so I used an average of both. That was back when diesel was high and everyone was selling their trucks. When I plug everything in now after two years, it's worth more than what i paid for it according to both sites.

My truck with 70k mi in CO shows from $25300 rough trade to $33000 clean retail.
Prices on diesels in CO have jumped up again, IMO. I gave $30k for mine in '08 with 10k mi on it and a bunch of extras already installed. Appears I could get $30k + now selling it with 70k mi, judging by what's for sale right now.
I'd love to sell it for what I payed 2 yrs later, but having trouble finding that "deal" on a newer one.
