Sw#0?
Sw#0?
I copied & pasted the q&a below from mads site..question..
if running on SW#0 is this saying that I am cutting my power in half or adding an additional half to the power I already have?
Also..why do they write "Emissions. Ehm"? ..
Q. Does MADS Electronics Smarty have only CaTCHER software on board?
A. No, Smarty offers SW# 0 that provides about HALF the power of a stock software. Emissions. Ehm. SW# 1 is a Fuel Saver software. SW# 2 deals only with fuel and boost. SW
# 3 is fuel, boost, and timing. The remaining levels can be considered CaTCHERs.

Cuts the power in half. It would allow for you to stay programed an pass a visual tailpipe inspection. Lower power = little to no smoke
I have not owned my truck very long but 2 months after I bought it, I did a S&B intake with a Flo Pro 5" turbo back and of course a Smarty JR.
I have left the setting at sw#0, which is labeled "fuel economy". I am under the impression that sw#0 is "Stock with deletes".
Though I don't have my foot deep in the throttle very often, it feels just as strong as stock. How can it be half power and feel as strong as stock?
(A. No, Smarty offers SW# 0 that provides about HALF the power of a stock software. Emissions. Ehm. SW# 1 is a Fuel Saver software. )
I too find the wording confusing!
So why does the Smarty Q&A mention half power?
I think the Q&A is too generic.
The info associated with J-67ME lists 3 power levels above stock,
Quote;
SW # 1 : 40 Hp increase
SW # 2 : 70 Hp increase
SW # 3 : 100 Hp increase
End Quote.
So...if I understand correctly...
SW # 0 : Stock with deletes?
