Just hope that whole spiel saves someone else a bunch of trouble.

Still VERY happy with my S67. Recently loaded POD and playing with that now. However in playing the various settings I have found what I like best. SW6 with all 2's REVO except VG is 3. Nice smooth power without all of the timing rattle from SW5. Mileage seems a little down with SW6, but too soon to tell. I'm keeping this at full power though and no backing down. I tried SW8 w/POD at 60 then 70. Might go back later and work with it some more.

I'm back to POD. I set it at SW8 and all REVO at 2. It takes off like a slug and I have to lift to shift if I'm pulling out quick. That'll take some getting used to. Power is nice at speed and on the road. Mileage is a big plus. I don't have to run a timing SW and put up with all that clatter. The overhead liar was holding at 17.2 for the last few weeks and I was running SW2 with all REVO at 2. Without resetting the overhead it has climbed back to 19.3 in one day. Normal routine of daily driving in mostly city driving. I can't complain.....much. I get power, mileage and no timing clatter. SWEET!

Had to work on another 07 with deletes. Truck has 148,000 plus miles. I know by seeing this one that I have to remove the CCV hose that feeds the turbo and let the CCV vent into a catch can or the open atomsphere. This needs to be done to all trucks that do the deletes.

Did you do this to yours? I just have a test pipe and pluged EGR tube. Does this fall into your category for needing to do this? What problems are being caused? Could you elaborate on the CCV filter, hose, turbo, etc.
I've got the same set-up, test pipe and all disconnected. Their design in principle was good. Have a seperator on top and only vent the vapors back into the intake side of the turbo. Call it a standard mileage interval for change and you'll keep another part of harmful emissions out of tthe atomsphere. Well, that's great if you don't mod the truck. As soon as more boost or a more constant boost is introduced then it throws their timetable out the window. Not to mention the owners that just disregard it all together and suck oil right into the turbo then to the intercooler, then the butterfly housing, then the intake elbow. Top notch idea there. I am definately going to disconnect mine. Frankly, they have all vented into the open air for as long as I've owned one. This was the first time as far as I know that they tried a closed vent system. After seeing firsthand the results I have to get it off of mine. Not to mention the costs of the filter and labor involved can reach $400. FOR A FILTER? That is of course if you don't know a resourceful person or are good with tools yourself. Then it can be had for around $70 shipped and an hour of your time. Again this is basing it on leaving it hooked to the turbo. Since most on here have let things "fall off" of their trucks in the interest of proper running. It just seems right to let the 6.7's match the same CCV standard as the 5.9's of the same model year.....
After all, it is 2010 emision standards, not 2007. You said elaborate.

Hey thanks Chris, that is just what I was looking for and it makes sense! I would certainly be interested in seeing how you go about doing this properly. I'm OK with the tools, but usually short on time. Hopefully, it would just be disconnecting, plugging, and put one of those little K&N filers on it or something

I saw there was a new update on the Mads site 19ME. I loaded it tonight and when it was done the Smarty still said 18ME on it. If anyone else updates theirs let me know what you get on your Smarty screen after it's done.

Oh and BTW running SW#7 TQ=2 TM=0 RP=0 VG=2 POD at 80. Nice response without the delayed upshifts. Get PERFORM SERVICE on the overhead if I roll into full throttle and hold it for a bit. After 3-6 key cycles it goes away. Weird.
