Pulling Machine

Well you guys were right, after doing the delete with smarty, took the loaded 15000# 5er for a trip to our cabin, seems like a differant truck, for the better. Nice smooth power, no down shifting where it would before. I went up with the smarty set just at the stock setup, to stop the regen, that in it self made me very happy, I hand figured 11.5 mpg, in the rain, with wind, used to be 10-10.5, the figures are at about 66-67 mph, my overhead said 11.4 for the most part. On the way back I set it to towing, default torque, and default timing, same speed, but loaded with full tanks, (had full water on the way up), and 2, 5 gallons of rocks, and 30 big Paver bricks, at least 1'x1' in size, raining, gusts to 25 mph wind, overhead was pushing close to 12 mpg. I'm very happy with the setup I have now, like I said before seems like a different truck, This motor is alot better then my old (2005) 5.9, in my opinion, not only in power, but how it delivers it. Very Happy.

send jim an email and tell him what mods you have, they base the tune on what youve done. they have three stages first is for stock trucks, then for modified and then full out race/pull. i run the stage 2 with great results. on another ofrum we got special pricing for 595$. jim@modernhorsepower.com. hes a great guy to deal with.
