Need some safe power

My fire department has owned our new brush truck for a little over a year now, it has come apparent that a little more power is needed. It's an 2008 5500 CTD 4x4 with the 6spd auto. Date of manufacture of 8/08. Looking for maybe a 40 to 60hp increase, along with an interactive display for boost, pyro, egt, and trans temp displays. We're planning on keeping the DPF. Must also be able to defuel if any of the parameters get out of hand. The truck weighs approximately 16k, because of the full stainless steel body, tank, pump, and a whole host of other fire fighting equipment. Which tuner do you guys suggest? Thanks for your help. Any power adder with the DPF in place is not a great idea.

The Smarty 67 can be used with the equipment in place. There is the 67ME which one can then delete it all. Nice thing is that the Smarty hardware is the same and one can go between these 2 softwares.

I started with the regular 67 and quickly went to the 67ME when it came out.

I highly suggest the Smarty which is a programmer over the Edge which is a signal modifier to "trick" the stock program as I understand it.

Yes, the Edge Insight is the electronic gauge. It also checks/clears codes, and does some other nifty things. All it does is monitor..., and does have alarms, but it is up to the owner of the foot to take responsibility .
