thinking of trading my o6 for an 2010 6.7 68rfe. whats the most mods i can do and realiable and not have to do tranny upgrades? any info would help thankd guys.

Well I would not run much over 100hp (over stock) and rely on the tranny to hold. I run SW3 on my Smarty (60hp) and it has held up to my airing it out on occasion.
I wouldnt tow that high up with the stock tranny though.
Its all in the right foot and what between the ears. Be good to your truck and it will be good to you.

Blake has the truth from what is so far known. Mind you like any time, it seems there are guys that run 200hp and say its fine or they blow up stock.
I've been running SW5 (90hp) bump empty and towing and its seems to be fine. I don't flog it and watch/feel every shift to see if I am stressing it. I could get a good TC shudder with only the 60 hp program with higher torque settings.

Sounds like you all ready have the 6.7 and 68rfe combo in your 07? I run SW3 and have tried SW5 with no issues. I think it really depends upon how YOU drive. Tell us more about this and the answers can be fine tuned.

I've been running SW5 on the TNT for 6 months and the trans is fine, occasional converter shudder if I lug it, but it's still going! Many WOT rips, and even some towing up to 10k. I plan on building a 68RFE soon so I don't care though...
