MP-8 opinions wanted....

I'm thinking of buying an MP-8. From those of you that have it, what do you think? I'm not planning on stacking it with anything. Does the Edge Insight, for gauges, work well with this. Just let me know what yall think.

I like the MP-8 on my truck, but I have nothing to compare it to. It does help the mileage increase 1-2.

I have the mp-8 stacked whith the Edge Juice/att. They work very well together. I have turned the edge to stock and played with the mp-8 and really like the seat of your pants Dyno. MP-8 and edge on level 1 nets 22.1 MPG hand cal. Empty ofcourse.

I assume the MP-8 is a pretty agressive pressure box like the one for the 5.9, so i would tend to suggest you don't use it as a single power adder, as additional pressure isn't good for daily driving and towing. I would aim for something with Timing and Duration as a Cummins loves extra timing (cools egts and promotes better fuel economy).

IMHO I would and do only use the MP-8 for a stack, but its known that the 03-04 trucks are less prone to injector damage by design (no 3rd injection). But it is a great pressure box!
